Sabine Esche

born in Lübeck.

1959 till 1963 apprenticeship in Saarbrücken in the art trade.

1968 marriage and birth of the daughter Susanne, development of the first clay head, the daughter as model.

1971 the first fabric dolls and wooden marionettes.

1976 birth of the son Tobias; exhibition in Frankfurt of fabric dolls and wooden marionettes.

1979 trials and experiments in wax, the first wax dolls, their exhibition in Lübeck.

1981 the first series of 10 porcelain dolls.

1984 and 1987 exhibitions in Essen.

1988 participation in an exhibition in Paris.

1990 Sabine Esche wins the "Doty Award - Doll of the year" in Florida, USA.

1990-2005 Art reviews in common and art publications, radio and television.                                                                   

She now lives in Hamburg, Germany.
